We all went up to Weber State's graduation on Friday to see my brother, Brian, walk. It was a very strange ceremony and I'm still a little baffled by it. Instead of having an orchestra play "Pomp and Circumstance" as is the tradition for graduation, Weber had a few guys on the stage banging on drums as the graduates marched in and out of the room. It kind of sounded like the drums from the movie "Jumanji", a little weird by kinda neat and different. Not a bad graduation ceremony until the last speaker stood up. Her entire commencement speech was about the Shakespeare play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and was completely confusing and way over my head. Either I've lost a few brain cells since my own graduation, or she was just from some other planet. Either way, Brian graduated and we are all very proud of him!

How strange...they played the traditional song at my Weber State graduation. The professors all dressed up like wizards. It was very traditional.
