Halloween, Family, Blessing, and Baseball

We had a very eventful weekend kicked off by one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. On Saturday the kids got a really special treat - Regular Grandma and Grandpa (aka Grandma and Grandpa Ence) came up from St. George for a visit along with Auntie Em and Brian, Lindsey, and baby Hailie. We blessed Eli on Sunday and had a fabulous dinner with both sides of the family. I don't have time to go into much detail, seeing as I have a newborn to take care of and 4 loads of laundry waiting for me to wash, but I have provided you with some pictures of the weekend's events. Enjoy!

First, we have Halloween night. The mean old witch, cute little pumpkin, and dangerous vampire after a night of walking from door to door and taking candy from people.
All the neighbor kids in their fabulous costumes. Brandy, you are the coolest vampiress I know!
My little demons anxious to hit the streets and beg for sugar. Look at that cute pillowcase Isaac is holding. Our sweet neighbor lady made Halloween pillowcases for all the kids to collect their candy in. She is the best!

On Saturday, Eli met his cousin Hailie for the first time. She introduced herself by chewing on his arm while he screamed bloody murder. They are only one month apart and are sure to be best buds!
My dad holding my passed out baby boy. Eli seems to really like my dad, which is good because he was named after him (Bradley is Eli's middle name).

We blessed Elias on Sunday. My mom and I found him this awesome little outfit for the blessing! He was so good while he was being blessed. My other kids both screamed through the whole thing, but he stayed sound asleep.

This is Eli stretching out on the couch after a long hard day at church.

He was a very sleepy boy on Sunday. Notice the cute blanket he's laying on. My mom made this for him specifically for his blessing day. So cute! Love the hair!
When he finally decided to wake up for some pictures, this is what we got. The boy is either asleep, eating, smiling, or screaming his head off. There really is no such thing as just being chill with this one. He's very extreme! I like to call him Mr. Fury.
My brother Brian with the two sleeping cousins. Hailie may be twice as big as Eli now, but watch out! He's going to catch up to her in no time!

Family photo of the 5 of us. What a good looking bunch we are!

Just for kicks, this is a picture of Eli in the little baseball outfit our neighbor gave him. This is his one moth old snap shot and once again he's furious! What a boy!

So he's extreme huh? Doesn't sound like anyone else I know that he might be related to...His Dad is so middle of the road about everything.

Too cute. You are a VERY attractive family. Congrats Eli. Oh and I LOVE the costumes. You still want me to watch the kids for your six week apt?

Adorable costumes, adorable blessing outfit, Such a great looking family! Does his 'extreme-ness' mean he has colic? If he does then you are here by commanded to send your kids over here when Eli naps so you can nap, and to also let me have all three on occassion so you can just sharpen the saw. My eldest had colic and I didn't do the self care I should have and it led to PPD - you are a wonderful mom and deserve to stay happy and healthy - so let your friends pitch in! Love ya! You all look great!

this is totally random and i found your blog through a link on google reader. but now i see that you know steve & kristin who are friends of ours. But my question for you is... do you know what the color of paint is on the wall behind you in the family photo (day of blessing). It looks like a nice chocolate color and that is what I want to paint in my bedroom. My email is happyfam@gmail.com if you don't mind emailing me the info. Sorry for being random. Your family is darling. Good luck with the new baby. Heather
